Due to having water in all Oil and Gas transfer pipelines, always there is the possibility of hydrate formation in the certain pressure and temperature especially for Subsea pipelines. To prevent such hydrate formation in pipelines, some hydrate inhibitors such as MEG is being applied. In MEG regeneration unit, the free or produced water in which has lowered the concentration of the Glycol solution, is separated and high concentration Ethylene Glycol will be again returned to transferring pipelines on the marine platforms.
